The Briefing Session on Secondary 1 Admission will be held on the morning of November 16, 2024.

Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, our school will no longer participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) scheme organized by the Education Bureau. Our school is a "Direct Subsidy School not participating in the SSPA".

As a result, applicants can apply directly to our school while applying for both the Discretionary Places (DP) and the Central Allocation (CA), which in turn allows applicants to have one more choice for secondary education. Once admitted by our school, parents need to sign and submit a Letter of Commitment, and the original copy of the "Primary 6 Student Record Form" to our school to confirm the acceptance of the Form 1 place. Admitted students will no longer be allocated other places by the Education Bureau. On the day of release of DP and CA results in July, students need to return to their primary school to collect the Allocation Slip and Admission Slip. The Allocation Slip will show that the student has been allocated to our school. Students need to complete the registration procedures at our school on one of days of registration.

Yes.

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements of passing the subjects of Chinese, English, and Mathematics in Primary Six and having a conduct grade of B or above will be invited to the first round of interviews.

Our school does not accept requests to change interview times due to personal reasons. However, for applications of such due to "school examinations" or "representing the school or a group in participating in citywide, national, or international competitions/performances," we will consider them on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must notify our school as soon as possible and attach copies of the relevant official documents. Our school will arrange a separate interview for the applicant.

The interview will have both Chinese and English sections. Based on the language selected by the applicant on the application form, our school will arrange for the student to conduct the Chinese language section of the interview in either Cantonese or Mandarin.

The application method is the same as for other applicants. For details, please refer to the "Admission Application" section on our school website. Applicants without a Student Registration Number (STRN) should enter "None" in the relevant column of the online application system.

All classes in our school's junior secondary years learn Mathematics, Integrated Science, Information and Communication Technology, Music, Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Business Fundamentals (Form 3) in English to better cater to students' learning needs.

Our school is among the first batch of schools participating in the citywide "Putonghua Teaching Chinese" program. All Secondary 1 students learn Chinese in Mandarin to lay a solid foundation in bilingualism. In Secondary 2 and 3, classes are divided according to students’ academic ability, with two classes of students with a higher academic ability learning Chinese in Mandarin. To better cope with the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, Chinese is taught in Cantonese in senior secondary years.

Our school organizes a two-week English bridging course every summer before the new school year begins, covering English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.

Secondary 1 to 3 students are required to stay in the school for lunch. Students can bring their own food or order lunch boxes from suppliers. Secondary 4 to 6 students can go out for lunch or order lunch boxes from suppliers.

To broaden students' horizons and cultivate their all-round development, the school arranges various life-wide learning activities, including a four-day military training camp for Secondary 1, a three-day adventure camp for Secondary 2, a three-day sea adventure camp for Secondary 3, a three to five-day mainland study tour for Secondary 4 students as part of the Citizenship and Social Development curriculum, and a three-day orientation camp for Secondary 5 students. There are also overseas study tours organized during the summer vacation.

Secondary 1 to 3 students are required to participate in co-curricular activities on the 8th and 9th periods every Friday. Activities are divided into four categories: academics, arts, sports, and services. Secondary 4 students participate in Other Learning Experiences on the 4th and 5th periods every Friday to cultivate interests, build confidence, and foster a spirit of teamwork. In addition, dozens of different clubs and teams are available for students to participate in outside class.

Applicants who have participated in the Central Allocation can apply to our school after the Central Allocation results are announced. They need to bring their latest two years' primary school report cards and Allocation Slip to our school for application. They will have to take written tests in Chinese, English, and Mathematics, and undergo an interview.

The annual tuition fee for Secondary 1 to 3 students in 2024 is HK$6,130, and HK$10,830 for Secondary 4 to 6 students. Regardless of the methods of application, all students are required to pay tuition fees. Our school sets aside HK$1.2 million each year for fee remission / scholarships.
