Our school offers scholarship and financial aid programs, amounting to more than 10% of the total tuition revenue, to reward students with excellent academic performance and to assist students from financially disadvantaged families.

Our school also offers a freshman scholarship. Students who pass our school's entrance examination and achieve excellent results will be awarded a scholarship to waive their tuition fees.

For From 1 students enrolling in 2024, our school has reserved 20% of the total tuition fees for scholarship and financial aid programs.

Heung To Middle School Scholarship Scheme

Scholarships will be awarded to students at the beginning of the academic year if they meet the following criteria:

  1. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the school to students who have achieved outstanding results in the entrance examination.
  2. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the school to students who have achieved good results in the entrance examination and come from financially disadvantaged families (e.g., newly arrived immigrants, unemployed parents, families with many children still in school).

Heung To Middle School Financial Assistance Scheme

Eligibility criteria

  1. The applicant must be a Heung To Middle School student who comes from a family with financial need.
  2. The applicant should not be a full scholarship awardee for the current academic year, nor being granted the government's Local Education (applied to children of civil servants).。
  3. Applicants (including recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance) must submit copies of their family's income proof documents for the past year (salary slips, tax returns, pay slips, bank statements, CSSA proof, Student Financial Assistance Scheme certificate, etc.).

Application Procedure

  1. The school will send a parent notice to all students at the beginning of each academic year, inviting eligible parents to apply for the abovementioned scheme. Applicants should obtain the application form from their class teacher. Application forms must be returned by September 16, 2024.
  2. Class teachers will review the application forms, provide comments, and visit families in need to learn about their circumstances.
  3. Collected application forms will be signed and submitted to the management team for approval. Results will be announced and parents will be notified by letter.

Approval Criteria

The school will refer to the "Student Financial Assistance Scheme" regarding the "Adjusted Family Income" to determine the amount of tuition fee remission.

* For 3-person and 4-person families in the 2024/25 academic year, the upper limits of "Adjusted Family Income" for full subsidy are HK$53,868 and HK$49,559 respectively. For 2-person and 3-person single-parent families, these families will be regarded as 3-person and 4-person families respectively for the purpose of determining the upper limit of "Adjusted Family Income" for full subsidy and calculating the "Adjusted Family Income".

The school reserves the final right of approval and discretion for all applications. Applicants may not appeal.

For applications submitted midway through the year, if the information is complete and the applicant is eligible, applications submitted on or before the 15th of each month will take effect the following month. Otherwise, it will be postponed for another month.
