With the joint efforts of teachers and students, the performance of Heung To Secondary School students has maintained its consistent strengths. The pass rates in the four core subjects are all significantly higher than the Hong Kong average.
Excellent Results in Core Subjects
Heung To students are proficient in both Chinese and English. This year, the pass rate for English Language remained at an outstanding level of 100%. The pass rate for Chinese Language reached 99.3%, Mathematics attained 97.9%, and Citizenship and Social Development stood at 99.3%. The pass rates for these three subjects are all notably higher than the Hong Kong average, fully demonstrating the effectiveness of our teaching.

Outstanding Overall Performance
In the 2026 HKDSE, our school achieved a total of 16 Level 5**, 55 Level 5* or above, 172 Level 5 or above, and 432 Level 4 or above. The overall pass rate was 98.9% (Hong Kong average: 86.0%).
The pass rates reached 100% for English Language, Mathematics (Extended Part Module 1), Chinese Literature, Economics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), History, Physics, Physical Education, Chinese History, Visual Arts, and Tourism and Hospitality Studies.
In terms of the credit/distinction rate (Level 4 or above), Mathematics, Geography, Biology, and Physics exceeded 50%; Chinese Language, Chemistry, ICT, and Mathematics (Extended Part Module 2) exceeded 60%; History and Physical Education exceeded 70%; and Chinese Literature reached an outstanding 90%.
The percentage of students meeting the minimum entrance requirements for university degree programmes is 75.0% (Hong Kong average: 36.7%), while the rate for sub-degree programmes is 95.9% (Hong Kong average: 72.4%).
