Notes to Applicants
- Applicants are required to log in to the "Admission" section of the school's website during the above-mentioned dates and activate the application form with their email address before completing the application form. Each email can be used once only.
- Applicants are required to complete the application form through the school's online application system and print the application form.
- The application fee is HK$75 and is non-refundable once paid through the online application system.
- To complete the entire application process, applicants must submit the printed application form and all supporting documents to Heung To Middle School in person or by a relative or friend on or before 10 December 2024 (Tuesday). The school does not accept application forms and supporting documents by mail.
Application Requirements
Applicants who fail to meet the application requirements will not be invited to admission the 1st round interviews:
- Achieved passing grades in Chinese, English, Mathematics, and overall; and
- Grade B or above in conduct
The school reserves every right to grant admission interviews to applicants.
Application Steps

Fill in the application form online
- Applicant’s information (A photo of the student's ID card and a student's identity card must be uploaded, with a maximum of 5Mb each)
- Academic performance and conduct reports
- Extracurricular activities or social services
- Parents’ or guardian’s information
- The language chosen for the interview (Chinese session: Cantonese or Mandarin)
- Ensure that all information is truthfully declared and click "Submit"

Print out the application form with the application number and photocopies of the following documents
- Academic performance reports of Primary 4, Primary 5, and Primary 6
- Award certificates, certificates or activity certificates for P4, P5 and P6 should not exceed 5 sheets of A4 paper and can be printed on both sides and in a reduced format
Submit the application to Heung To Middle School in person or by a family member or friend during office hours on or before 10 December 2024 (Tuesday).
Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Interview arrangements
First interview
- Interview Date: On 11 January 2025 (Saturday), the school will send an invitation by email two weeks in advance, which will indicate the interviewing time and relevant information.
- All applicants may be invited to attend the first interview, based on the school's application requirements.
- Interview format: Individual interview
- Interview language: English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
- Assessment content: language proficiency, logical thinking, presentation and critical thinking skills
Second interview
- Interview Date: From 15 February 2025 (Saturday) To 29 March 2025 (Saturday), students who are invited to attend the second interview will be notified by email two weeks in advance.
- Interview format: Interview with students and parents
- Supplementary documents: Primary 6 transcript and supporting documents of relevant academic, extra-curricular activities and service awards. Those documents should not exceed more than 5 sheets of A4 paper (if applicable)
- Interview language: English and Chinese (Choose Cantonese or Mandarin)

- Successful applicants or applicants on the waiting list will be notified by email from Mid-March to early April 2025. Applicants who accept a place are required to register with the School on or before 25 April 2025 and submit the originals of the signed "Parent’s Undertaking Letter" and the "Primary 6 Student Form" to confirm acceptance of the Secondary 1 place. Parents are required to return to the primary school in July to collect the Allocation Slips and Admission Slips, which will show that the student has been assigned to the school and the student is required to return the Registration Card to the school.
- Unsuccessful applicants will receive a notification on or before 30 April 2025.
Tuition Fees and Fee Remission Schemes
The annual tuition fee for 2024 is as follows:

Note: The tuition fees for all grades in the 2025 academic year are subject to approval by the Education Bureau and will be adjusted in accordance with the annual inflation rate announced by the Education Bureau.
Heung To Middle School has set up a bursary scheme to provide financial assistance to students in need (including students from CSSA families or students receiving financial assistance from the Student Financial Assistance Agency). In addition, the school has a scholarship program to reward students with excellent academic performance. The total amount of the two schemes is more than 10% of the tuition fee, and the application method and details can be found on the school's website.
