Recently, all our S1 to S6 classes (24 in total) as well as the school’s Art Club members participated in the “National Day Cup Display Board Competition” organized by the DAB. They won “The Most Active Participation School Award” and the “The Most Creative Award” in the senior high school category.

The award-winning work “National Treasure Celebration” created by the Art Club members (Shek Ming Yu Katrina, Zhuang Tsan Kit Alan, Chow Ching Lam Regina, Lee Lai Yin Natalie and Chau Hiu Yuk Hilda) features a giant panda congratulating for the national anniversary by writing its message with a traditional Chinese calligraphy brush. Two panda cubs are playing beside the giant panda, and the brush is made of bamboo, all of which emphasizing the well-known representative animal of China. What is most encouraging is that our students were actively involved in the design process. They not only were able to fully express their creativity during the production of the display board, but also managed to enhance their own understanding of the country’s great achievements and contributions, fostering a sense of national identity. This is a truly meaningful lesson to all our students.
