Students from Heung To Middle School participated in the 13th Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education exams. Through the joint efforts of teachers and students, they maintained consistently strong results, excelling in all four core subjects.

Outstanding performance in core subjects

Heung To students have always excelled in both Chinese and English. In this DSE, the pass rates were 100% in Chinese, 99.3% in English, 97.8% in Mathematics, and 100% in Citizenship and Social Development, significantly higher than the average across Hong Kong.

Overall outstanding performance

Our school achieved a 21.8% rate of Level 5 or above (compared to 14.2% across Hong Kong), including 18 Level 5**, 45 Level 5*, and 106 Level 5. We also achieved a 51.7% rate of Level 4 or above (compared to 36.1% citywide), with an overall pass rate of 98.9% (compared to 86.2% citywide). Additionally, multiple subjects achieved outstanding results, with Chemistry having over 80% of students achieving Level 4, Physics and Chinese Literature having over 70%, and Chinese, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, M2 (Mathematics Extended Part 2), Geography, and Information and Communication Technology having over 60%. Furthermore, subjects with over 50% of students achieving the desired level include Mathematics, Biology, Economics, and M1 (Mathematics Extended Part 1). Moreover, the pass rates for Chinese, M2 (Mathematics Extended Part 2), Biology, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, Chinese Literature, Information and Communication Technology, History, Physics, Physical Education, and Visual Arts all reached 100%.

The percentage of students who qualified for university degree admission was 66.2% (compared to 39% citywide), and the percentage of students who qualified for associate degree admission was 98.6% (compared to 74.2% citywide).

Additionally, the Public Affairs Department of the HKEAA sent a team to our school to film and interview our students. They interviewed top students Hu Ka Chun, Cheung Ho Pang Oscar, and Ding Wenle. Miss May Chan was full of praise for Cheung and Ting, the "calligraphy twins" who are passionate about Chinese culture and have swept various academic competitions. She was even more impressed by the deep affection and mutual support among Heung To's teachers and students, as well as the enthusiastic support from university student mentors, describing it as "a rare sight".
