Heung To Middle School organized a Japan Technology Study Tour: Inspiring Interest and Enhancing Innovative Thinking from July 1st to 5th, which included a pre-departure event hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong. The aim of this event was to enhance students' understanding of technological development, while broadening their international perspective.

🏯Event at the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong 🏯

Before departing for Japan, students participated in a cultural exchange event organized by the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong to prepare them for their arrival in Japan. Consul-General Mr. Okada Kenichi personally talked with the students. The students were curious about the Consul-General's work and actively asked questions in English and Mandarin. This mutual exchange allowed students to gain a better understanding of Japanese culture and diplomacy. The Consulate-General also arranged cultural activities, such as learning the Japanese language and Japanese trivia, as well as experiencing "Furoshiki", a traditional way of wrapping items. This gave students a deeper understanding of the differences between Chinese and Japanese cultures.
