The competition, Organized by the Creative Technology Education Association, and co-organized by Heung To Middle School, the Vocational Training Council’s Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) and Youth College (Kowloon Bay), the 19th CTEA CUP Robotic Tournament Creative Technology Robotics Competition, was successfully held on November 22 and 23. This year witnessed an enthusiastic response, with an increase in the number of participating teams from schools and educational institutions in various regions.

In addition to local teams, there were also participants from multiple provinces and cities in Chinese Mainland, including Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Guangxi, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. A delegation from the Philippines also travelled a long distance to join the event, bringing the total number of participants to over 300.

The Creative Technology Education Association has long been committed to promoting innovative technology education, hoping that the new generation can grow through robotics learning and acquire skills needed for future tech driven workplaces. The “CTEA Cup” will celebrate its 20th edition next year, and we look forward to collaborating with various schools and international teams to advance innovation and technology education together.
