On the evening of April 17, Heung To Middle School hummed with excitement as we hosted the annual Outstanding Students Award Ceremony-cum-Talk for Parent Teacher Association. Nearly 600 parents, students, and teachers attended this delightful and heartwarming event.
A total of 127 students were awarded for their outstanding performance in various aspects, including academic studies, sports or arts achievements, service for the school as well as perfect attendance. Besides, certificates of appreciation were given to all the S1 and S2 class committee members for their commitment to serving their classes, and to the parent volunteers, who are our invaluable partners in the course of education, for their selfless contribution to the school’s growth and development.
The highlight of the evening was a talk by Dr Ringle Leung, renowned child and family education expert, on the topic of “Wisdom of Parenting in the AI Era". In a humorous yet down-to-earth approach, Dr Leung shared his insightful ideas on how to foster children’s critical thinking, digital literacy and emotional intelligence.
The whole event ended in thunderous applause, and we continue to make efforts in working hand in hand with all our students’ parents, aiming at providing the best environment for our students to learn and grow.
