On September 19, Heung To Middle School organized the "One-Day Hong Kong Exploration Tour for Newly Arrived Students," bringing together 28 students for a memorable journey of cultural discovery.
Throughout the day, students immersed themselves in Hong Kong's rich history and vibrant urban charm. The itinerary began at the historically significant Kowloon Walled City Park, where students visited the captivating "Kowloon Walled City: A Cinematic Journey" exhibition. The group then experienced one of the city's most iconic modes of transport—the double-decker tram—before wrapping up their journey with a tour of the historic architecture at Tai Kwun.
Despite the scorching weather, the heat did nothing to dampen the students' excitement and enthusiasm. This one-day tour provided our newly arrived students with a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's history, culture, and heritage architecture. What was once abstract knowledge in textbooks transformed into tangible, firsthand experiences as they explored the city step by step.
We believe this journey has inspired our students with newfound passion and bright anticipation for their future life and studies in Hong Kong.
