Chinese Culture Week was successfully held from 9 to 13 March 2026. The event was co-organised by the Student Union, Chinese Costume Society, Library, Go Society, Chinese Chess Society, Literary Society, Calligraphy Society, Recitation Society, Juggling Club, Photography Society, IT Society, Music Society, Visual Arts Society and Mathematics Society.
It aimed to bring the entire school’s teachers and students closer to Chinese traditions through a diverse range of cultural experiences, allowing them to appreciate the beauty and charm of Chinese culture, while nurturing students’ organisational skills, teamwork spirit and self-confidence.
Spanning five consecutive days, the Culture Week featured a variety of themed activities each day, offering rich and diverse content. In addition to student-designed booth games and Chinese music performances, this year’s event also invited professional external organisations to provide intangible cultural heritage experience programmes and booths.
Among the most popular activities were sugar painting, face-changing performance, AI Transformation, ancient architecture workshops and lacquer fan painting. Overall, Chinese Culture Week successfully fostered a rich cultural atmosphere on campus. Students showed a keen interest in traditional culture, wrapping the early spring campus in ancient poetic charm. The romance steeped in cultural heritage gently nourished the hearts of every student.
