Taking advantage of the beautiful Mid-Autumn Moon on September 19th (the 16th day of the 8th lunar month), nearly 200 university alumni returned to their alma mater, Heung To, to attend the Reunion Dinner hosted by the Heung To University Students' Association. "Family members” gathered together, chatting casually, and filled the Chung Chi Hall with heartfelt teacher-student affection, spending a joyous evening.
The event kicked off with a group singing of the "Heung To Song" and a warm welcome speech by Principal Wong Chung Leung. This was followed by the inauguration ceremony for the new executive committee of the University Students' Association and the presentation of certificates to the mentors of the 8th Mentorship Programme. The association expressed its gratitude to senior alumni for their support in our academic pursuits, allowing younger students to adapt to university life more quickly, embodying Heung To’s spirit of "passing on the torch." Next, the "How Much Do You Know About Heung To Quiz” was held, in which everyone was quick-witted and competition was fierce, allowing everyone to reminisce about the interesting tidbits of their good old school days. The university students also sang songs and danced, with everyone singing, dancing, and clapping along, bringing a lively atmosphere. Finally, there was the much-anticipated lucky draw, filled with excitement and joy, which spread throughout the Chung Chi Hall.
