On 24 June 2026, our HTMS English Musical Team took center stage at S.K.H. Lui Ming Choi Memorial Primary School for a spectacular and meaningful outreach performance. Playing to an enthusiastic audience of P.3 through P.6 students, our talented performers blended music, drama, and interactive storytelling into an unforgettable English-language learning experience.

Overcoming Challenges Through Teamwork
Taking a production on the road is no small feat! Facing unique space and venue limitations in the primary school hall, our dedicated students jumped straight into action. They took full charge of the set-up process, quickly adapting their staging arrangements with incredible flexibility and coordination.
Beyond acting and singing, our students also hosted an interactive post-drama discussion. This segment put their spontaneity, confidence, and public speaking skills to the test—and they passed with flying colors!
Sharing a Powerful Message of Inclusion
This year's performance carried a profound theme close to our hearts: raising awareness for Special Educational Needs (SEN). Through their heartfelt acting and melodies, our team beautifully conveyed messages of:
- Understanding
- Acceptance
- Inclusion
By utilizing drama-based approaches—which are widely recognized for boosting expression and social interaction for learners with diverse needs—our team made these crucial concepts both accessible and deeply moving for the young audience. The post-performance discussion further encouraged the primary pupils to reflect on these important values.

Real-World Growth Beyond the Stage
This outreach program proved to be an incredibly fruitful learning experience for our students. By stepping out of their comfort zones, they applied their talents to a real-world context and developed vital life skills:
- Artistic Excellence: Demonstrating outstanding abilities in acting, singing, and public speaking.
- Logistical Awareness: Learning the ins and outs of event setup and venue adaptation.
- Leadership & Responsibility: Engaging directly with a younger audience and working seamlessly as a team.
Strengthening Our Community Partnerships
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to S.K.H. Lui Ming Choi Memorial Primary School for inviting us and providing such a valuable platform for collaboration. School-to-school partnerships like this are deeply meaningful to us at HTMS; they enrich student development, foster mutual growth, and allow us to share our school's vibrant spirit with the wider community.

We are incredibly proud of our English Musical Team for a highly successful, memorable, and impactful performance. They have truly represented the best of our school!
